This is the larger version of Amazon's flagship tablet device, the 8.9 inch Kindle Fire HD. This tablet features a faster processer than the smaller version in the shape of a 1.5GHz dual core chip- (as oppesed to the 1.2GHz chip in the 7 inch version).
The 16GB version will cost you £229, while you can double the storage to 32 GB by paying an extra £39. One unique thing about how Kindle Fire works is that you can pay an extra £10 not to see adverts on your device, e.g. on the lock screen.
