Wii Mini to be released in UK in March for £80

Nintendo Wii Mini
The Wii mini, the smaller version of Nintendo's gaming console, will be released in the UK on the 22nd March and will cost just £80.  The device was previously only available in Canada and was launched there before Christmas.  Wii mini is a stripped down version of the Wii and it does lack some key features.  It won't connect to the internet and it doesn't have an SD card slot.  It can play old Wii games, though and there is one USB port.

The Wii U hasn't been proving too popular among-st consumers and releasing the Wii mini could be Nintendo's attempt to compete seriously against Play Station and Xbox.
