Samsung Galaxy S4 latest rumors: what to expect

It's just a few weeks away from the launch of Samsung's galaxy S4, what could possibly become one of the worlds most popular smartphones.  So what should we expect from Samsung latest flagship device?

There is no debating that the phone will run Android O4.2, the latest version, and so major improvements will be in the hardware aspect.  The screen will be a main focus for Samsung and is rumored to be more like the super-sharp screen on the S2, just with a higher pixel density.  This has also been seen in the Samsung Galaxy Note, smartphone come tablet device.  There are also rumors that the new Galaxy S4 will feature a flexible screen, however there have been delays in this technology and so it looks fairly unlikely that it will be implemented at this time.

The sixe of the screen is also expected to change.  The S4 is expected to feature a 5 inch display, compared to the 4.8 inch from the S3 and the 4 inch from the iPhone.  It is also rumored to have a full HD 1080p display with an outstanding 441ppi- making it one of, if not the best resolution on the market.

Other specs, such as the processor will also be updated although the main focus at the moment will be on the screen.  The success of the S3 and the other phones in their extensive android range has meant Samsung has taken a large share in the smartphone market and is neck and neck with Apple.

In terms of the release date, an event is most likely to take place in New York at 7PM EST on the 14th March.
