Samsung have announced their latest "Note" tablet, an 8 inch version. It was first introduced to the world a few days a go at the Mobile World Congress 2013 in Barcelona.
The new device will rival Apple's iPad mini, and it may just be in with a chance of successfully doing that. It will, of course, be running iOS' main rival: Android (4.2.1) and comes with a pretty good 1.6GHz quad-core chip. It will also have 2GB of RAM and an SD card Slot.
The design of the device is fairly similar to previous Samsung tablets, with a home button and also the new S-pen stylus.
Samsung's latest tablet could definitely give the iPad mini a run for it's money, although don't expect to see it on the shelf's just yet as it's expected to be released in the second quatre of 2013.
