Apple Watch- All you need to know

Apple have finally announced their first smartwatch, simply known as the Apple Watch. The watch comes in 18 different models (though two basic designs of either 38mm or 42mm) and will be released in 'early 2015'. On their website, Apple bost 2 million ways 'to see time', writing:

Each Apple Watch comes with a range of watch faces you can change whenever you like. You can also add specialized functions — known in watchmaking as complications — to most faces. Choose stopwatches, stock quotes, weather updates, and more. When you combine all the possible options, the opportunities for personalization [sic] are virtually endless.

The Apple watch is designed to fit in with iOS 8. It will be able to show all your notifications as well as run basic simplified versions of apps. It will have a variety of health features including a step counter which will be able to sync with the new Health app which comes with iOS 8. You'll also be able to use Siri on the device, which will sell for $350 in the US.
