Grand Theft Auto 5 wins Golden Joystick Game of the year award

The fifth instalment of the 18-rate crime game, Grand Theft Auto, has won the top prize at the Golden Joystick awards 2013.  The Golden Joystick awards are decided by the public who vote for who they think is best, this year more than 10 million people voted.  

Al King, from wargaming.netA new lifetime achievement award was also introduced this year and was awarded to Ken Levine, the man behind the Bioshock and System Shock 2.  

The Last of us by Sony also got two awards and World of Tanks won best online game award.
