What makes the Google nexus 4, and in fact all nexus devices, different from all the other android phones is that the hardware and software have basically been built for each other. It's all Google so, where with a Samsung galaxy device Google's software is just running on Samsung's hardware with the Nexus 4, it's the way Google wants it to be.At first glance, there is nothing that is noticeably special about the Google Nexus 4. In terms of looks it is very similar to other LG handsets, Samsung galaxy handsets and Huawei devices. The nexus 4 is nearly the same as the previous version in size at 133.9 x 68.7 x 9.1. The back of the device is mad out strong glass which gives it a good look and feel.
It's quite a solid device, just enough to justify the 139 gram weight. The screen is 4.7 inches, so quite large, and is HD at 768x1280. It has a quad-core, 1.5GHz possessor which is obviously fast enough to run any apps/ browse the web etc.
It is priced about mid-range fin the smartphone market with the 8GB version coming in at £239 and the 16Gb at £279.
