Disable 'My Magazine' feature on Samsung Galaxy S5

By Admin 03 August 2014
The S5 has a rather annoying feature called My Magazine which takes up a whole panel of your home screen.  It's very easy to disable (but somewhat hard to find) so here's how:

1)  Find a part of your home screen where no apps are and hold down, bringing up this menu:

2) Open up 'Home screen settings' shown in the bottom left.  This will open up this screen:

3) Un-tick 'My Magazine' to disable it.

Others seem to have no problem with the pledge itself, but object to the fact that male students aren't required to sign it. "This is a simply wonderful provision, but why does it not include boys?" asks one person. Another says: "Men should sign - isn't this sexist?"
