Apple iWatch to be announced September 9th, but released 2015

Apples first bit of wearable tech, the highly-anticipated Apple smartwatch dubbed iWatch, will be announced on September 9th alongside two versions of the iPhone 6 (see here).  This is according to technology website 'recode' which also, confidently, stated that the watch would not be available to buy until next year.

The iWatch, which may actually be released under the name iTime -according to certain sources, will be able to connect to the iPhone- making use of new apps such as HealthKit which will come with the new iOS 8.  Although we don't have a set date for when the device will go on sale, it is likely that you'll be able to get your hands on one in January of February next year.

Meanwhile, Apple has sent out invitations to the September 9th event; see below:
