Why you shouldn't use an ad-blocker

It is true that ads can be a bit annoying, especially on some websites where content is actually outweighed by online advertising.  Because of this, add-on applications such as Adblock plus appeal to many and now have around 60 million average users. 

This may be all good and well, until it has a direct effect on the website you’re blocking ads on.  It is estimated that 84% of the top 100 websites rely on adverting to generate revenue and keep the website up and running. 

Take the website you’re on now, for example.  GhekoTech provides free content, however we also display adverts in certain places on the website.  For GhekoTech to stay up and running, it is essential that our viewers see and even click on the adverts.
