Microsoft have been forced to change the name of their cloud storage service after losing a legal battle to Sky. SkyDrive will become OneDrive but the essential service behind it will stay the same, just operate under a different name.
Originally named 'Windows Live Folders', rumoured names in the running were BingDrive and FetchDrive.
The name is being changed worldwide due to a British court ruling that the name infringed the Trademark of Sky broadcasting group.
