Google Ad-words 'don't boost sales'- An ebay report finds
An interdependent investigation by popular online bidding site eBay found that Google's option for them to 'buy' words doesn't increase sales.  They say this is because users who look to buy online are already loyal eBay customers who expect to buy from their site anyway.  eBay found that even if eBay results didn't appear at the top of the page- they would scroll down to find an eBay link anyway.  Removing the sponsored ads makes no difference according to eBay.
