According to the New York Times, Facebook will release a Facebook custom android OS running on a HTC handset. Facebook has constantly denied previous rumors of a Facebook phone, however some claims suggest the operating system could be released just next week!
So far Facebook hasn't directly commented on this, however next Thursday will play host to a FB event which will be a "significantly mobile focused announcement."
